On the 9th October 2011 I was the first person in my family to run a marathon. and the following year I ran my second marathon

Since then I lost my love affair with running and I'm trying to find my place in the world of fitblrs and weightloss.

I'll write about other stuff too, because my life isn't just about running and losing weight, I'm much, much more than that. I'm a photographer and filmmaker. I'm a daughter, sister and girlfriend living far away from those who I love. I'm a Tasmanian living in Mackay trying to make a life for myself.

Trying to log my sleep with fitbit. I’m pretty shocking with remembering to do it though… Yesterday it was 2:30 in the afternoon before I remembered it was still in the sleep mode!
But this is a pretty average night for me!

Weigh in Wednesday 

Starting weight: 77.6kgs (171lbs)
Last week: 77.0kgs (169.7lbs)
This week: 75.5kgs (166.4lbs)
Difference: -1.5kgs (3.3lbs)
Total difference: -2.1kgs (4.6lbs)

I’m feeling really positive about this! As you can see from the graph I spent most of this week at 76.0kgs and I would have been happy to stay there for weigh in today but to drop the extra 0.5kgs was a bonus! Turns out when you do stick to things it works! Normally I would have seen the same weight 3 days in a row and said “stuff it this isn’t working anyways” and just stuffed my face and laid about the house doing nothing. 

This is a really good start to the month

We did the yoga and then we did a bunch of challenges. 

We did a bunch of planks, wall sits, lunges, bridges, push-ups and a total of 150 squats

Now it’s time to shower and wash my hair since its full of sweat and massage oil, it’s really gross!!

Work was crazy busy! I walked a good 8,000+ steps during my 4 hour shift! 
Lunch was a 6” chicken teriyaki sub from subway which was nommy and I also inhaled a coconut flavored chobani on my way home from work!

I bought a premise asian salad for dinner cause Ive got a major case of the ceebees but I bought some chicken skewers to add to it!

But I did do my 30 day challenges! Lucky there was a bunch which were rest days because I did a fair bit of bit of it in the shower!

Considering doing yoga but I don’t wanna run the risk of getting yuck and sweaty after I’ve had a shower (yoga has been kicking my ass lately, don’t ever let me stop again) maybe I’ll just do some stretching and meditating before bed
