On the 9th October 2011 I was the first person in my family to run a marathon. and the following year I ran my second marathon

Since then I lost my love affair with running and I'm trying to find my place in the world of fitblrs and weightloss.

I'll write about other stuff too, because my life isn't just about running and losing weight, I'm much, much more than that. I'm a photographer and filmmaker. I'm a daughter, sister and girlfriend living far away from those who I love. I'm a Tasmanian living in Melbourne trying to make a life for myself.

I’m one whole month into this challenge! I’ve actually stuck with it for an entire 30 days! Today started out good, a gain on the scales but then they can all be losses, a good day and good workout at the gym and then finished up with a couple slices of pizza which I probably shouldn’t have had but I was bonding with roommate and it was delicious so whatever.

So freaking close to a 2 minute plank!!! So close!! I just couldn’t hold it 6 more seconds… So close! So stoked though!!

Today’s workout was cleaning and sorting my bedroom. I’m slowly getting rid of the furniture in my bedroom and it was a complete mess I couldn’t even walk through this morning. It’s still messy and pretty much everything that is on the bed in the second picture is now on the floor but that’s a job for tomorrow! I also deep cleaned the bathroom which I hate doing but maybe if I don’t put it off for so long it wouldn’t be so gross and take so long and wouldn’t be half as bad!! 
Plank today was so impressive! I got to 1:40 (which I failed to do yesterday) and still had some in me so I kept going!! 
I also meal planned for the week and THINK I finally have my macros down, off to the supermarket tomorrow to grocery shop and meal prep! I’m going to start posting my macros plus my daily weight during there’s healthy hundred recaps see how I go with logging my weight everyday opposed to once a week.

I really need to get my snacking and eating under control… I haven’t been bingeing or anything but I have bought chocolate bars every single time I went to the supermarket over the last couple days. (Yup that includes today when I just ducked into coles to buy sandy a Powderade… Bought myself a twix and only ate half of it before she turned up so i hid it in my bag before she saw… Yup… I did that…) I’m going to sit down and create a proper meal plan for the week tomorrow, work out my calories and macros and try to stick to it! As close as I can!
In other news I didn’t get a chance to plank after I did yoga this afternoon and completely forgot about it until I was making the collage for this post, ended up planking on the bathroom floor, not the 1:40 I was aiming for but I just couldn’t hold it any longer :-( maybe tomorrow!
Tomorrow’s a big day, planning on doing an epic clean of the apartment and start photographing everything which I’m planning to sell before the move (which is basically everything) and posting ads.

I’m almost a quarter of the way through!! 
I didn’t go to the gym tonight because of the boob situation, but I went home and ran as much as I could before it got dark… Not great but better than nothing!

Start of 2014: 74.7kgs (164.6lbs)
Last week: 72.2kgs (159.1lbs)
This week: 73.3kgs (161.5lbs)
Difference: +1.1kgs (2.4lbs)
Total loss for 2014: 1.4kgs (3.0lbs)

Well this was disappointing… And if I wasn’t able to see the changes in my body I probably would care a lot more… Just keep on keeping on.

Forgot to post this before I went to bed last night! Actually if I’m honest I went in to look at my calories and got so caught up in tweaking my goals that I completely forgot about it! I want to start taking more notice of my macros but it’s like a freaking jigsaw puzzle isn’t it?!?!? More protien, less carbs, less fat, more calories… It’s exhausting trying to make it all fit!! 
My body is sore from this workout (probably because I upped all my weights) and it’s nice to have that feeling again… I’m glad that next week is my last week with this plan and I’ll be changing it up again soon

Thank god for some sort of weight loss this week!! I’ve got my period so I wasn’t expecting a big loss cause I feel all sorts of bloaty and just general ickiness. (Also haven’t pooed yet this morning!)

I’m heading up to Queensland for the weekend to see my boyfriend tomorrow after work and I tell you this week has gone SO SLOWLY!!! And I think today and tomorrow at work are going to drag on!! Just let me fast forward so I can have some cuddles please?

I have my period and horrible cramps and I still managed to workout today! I’m really proud of myself. 
Tomorrow is weigh in day and I’m quietly a bit nervous about it! I just desperately want the scales to move after being stuck in the exact same place for a month now!!

1. Weigh 71.7kgs or below by the end of the month (this is a loss of 1kg)
2. Do two photo shoots
3. Continue with the healthy hundred challenge
4. Complete a 30 day plank challenge (should I just plank for as long as I can each day or start out with 30 seconds and add 10 seconds each day?)
5. Do a spring clean of all my clothes/books etc. donate anything I no longer use.

I think this will do me for the month!!
